Sergio concentrates his professional practice in administrative law and its different regulatory areas, a specialty from which he has advised both private clients and public agencies. He specializes in administrative litigation, environmental matters, urban planning, administrative sanctions, permits and authorizations, licenses and concessions, administrative contracts, and civil service.
STUDIES
Sergio holds a J.D. degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, an LL.M. Degree in administrative law from Universidad de los Andes and an LL.M degree in law of regulated sectors from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He also holds diplomas in urban, environmental, and maritime law.
WORK EXPERIENCE
He served as Municipal Secretary and Director of Control in the municipalities of Lago Verde and Río Ibáñez, Aysén Region, respectively, functions that included the subrogation of mayors and the exercise of jurisdiction, experiences that gave him a solid practical knowledge of the State and its most essential actors, processes, times and customs.
