Juan Pablo concentrates his practice in regulatory, urban, public property and government administration law. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, advising leading companies in the development of their activities and investment projects in the Antofagasta Region, where he has carried out his entire professional activity.
STUDIES
Juan Pablo holds a J.D. degree and an LL. M degree in administrative law from Universidad de los Andes, as well as a diploma in natural resources and environmental law.
He is also a professor at the Universidad Católica del Norte, where he teaches courses on sectoral permits and administration of public property.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Lawyer of the Legal Unit of the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of National Assets between 2013 and 2014 and head of the same department between 2018 and 2022.
Between 2016 and until 2018 he served as chief legal officer of the Municipal Corporation of Health and Education of Antofagasta. Previously, between 2011 and 2013, he worked as an associate lawyer of the law firm Cariola, Díez,Pérez-Cotapos at their offices in Antofagasta.
