Carolina centers her practice in the area of public and administrative law, focusing on urban law, permits and authorizations, the development of strategies in complex administrative litigation, administrative sanctioning procedures, public procurement and electricity law.
She has extensive experience advising clients from different industries in their relations with public agencies, among others, real estate companies, construction companies, service providers to government agencies and power generators and transmitters.
STUDIES
Carolina has a law degree from the Universidad Austral de Chile, an LL.M. from the University of Chicago and a diploma in public law.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Carolina worked at Barros Silva Varela y Vigil Abogados as an associate between 2014 and 2021, and as Director of the Regulatory Law area from 2021 to 2023. Previously, Carolina worked at Menchaca y Cía. and at the Second Civil Court of Valdivia.
